According to a news report from WHSV.com, “Area residents who ordered from Cici’s Pizza on Wednesday received a very special delivery. It was the fourth annual Smoke Detector Check Program, and the Harrisonburg Fire Department surprised many customers by delivering their pizza by fire truck. The firefighters would then inspect residents’ smoke detectors, and, if needed, install new ones, free of cost.”
