When Gordon worked at PepsiCo, he helped manage franchises such as Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. He purchased Mountain Mike’s Pizza in the 1990s from Ernie Stewart, the man credited by some with starting pizza franchises during the 1950s.”
“The industry is experiencing strong growth,” according to the article. “In fact, the fastest-growing franchises are expected to increase their franchise units 60 percent in the next year, according to a recent issue of Franchise Times.”
