Fosh Food is a very special shop: it’s a coffee-bar-restaurant-wine shop but at the same time it’s a gastronomy boutique, a take-away restaurant and a culinary school too.

This idea has begotten by Marc Fosh, an English chef, who obtained One Michelin Star thanks to his excellent running of the Read’s Hotel restaurant based in Palma di Mallorca, which has been defined by experts one of the best in the whole Spain.

Using the Fosh Food concept, Marc intends spreading the haute cuisine and the passion for high quality food cooked in front of clients, with a good price menu and courses of gastronomy suitable for everyone. Moreover all the Marc Fosh’s appetizing dishes can be delivered to home or office by a take-away service.

For special events, Fosh Food offers a customized catering service (yacht-catering is very popular).

Thanks to the Costa Group engagement, Marc created a real cooking experimental centre, with a relaxing atmosphere where you can taste good wine and learn all the chef secrets.

The spot is composed by a shopping area characterized by walls provided with lighted niches and iroko cabinets used for products display: salt, oil and vinegar branded by Marc Fosh and made in Palma de Mallorca, spices and special dressings, wines, champagne, herbal infusions, jams and sauces. As well as foods, innovative kitchen tools are sold in the shop (porcelain plates, kichtenware and knives, professional frying pans, etc).

The coffee area is composed by an angled counter covered by white glass, with a refrigerated zone used for the exposition of take-away dishes. The counter is surronded by a wide table where you can taste a coffee, seating on comfortable stools.

The shop’s main area is situated close to the coffee-counter: the kitchen is on sight and the clients have their dinner around it. The result is a real Show Cooking!

Fosh Food offers high-class menu which change according to chef suggestions: every day clients discover new tastes and learn new culinary techniques.

The shop shows a linear and clean style, the atmosphere is made crisp by the colours of lighted niches, by the main colour of Fosh Food brand (light green and white) and by the modern wall graphics. The charming and small tasting-room is suitable for who wants to taste Marc Fosh’s dishes in intimacy.

Considering the international character of clients, into the shop it’s possible to find the most important international magazines and to connect to Internet in the apposite wi-fi zone.

Fosh Food kitchen is a creative mix of English and French tradition with Mediterranean tastes and modern Asian influences. The menu, both meat and fish, offers typical mallorchini dishes (as “mallorchina baccalà”) and international ones (as sushi and sushimi, “tagine” of mallorchina lamb, pasta with sea fruits, cheese cake, etc).

Marc Fosh in collaboration with his expert collegues, the canadian Robert Bragagnolo and the english Kevin Becker, organize cooking thematic courses three times a week: the participants observe Chefs at work for two hours, learning and tasting a complete menu from the starter to the dessert. The courses are opened to 15/18 people and are very popular between the cooking lovers not only for the creativity of menu (some example: “Detox food”, a menu for body purification and spirit balance; “Brain Food”, a menu made to delight mouth and brain; “Spring Food” a menu with a spring taste, etc) but also for the high professional level.
