The chefs behind the acclaimed frozen-pizza brand, Pizza Freak Co., keep piling up the kudos, with Food & Wine singling out their Three Cheese Pizza in a recent article about “standout products” that can be ordered online and enjoyed at home.
Food & Wine selected Brad Kilgore, who co-owns Pizza Freak Co. with Brad Daniels, as the Best New Chef in America in 2016. In the current article, published on September 9, Food & Wine listed 10 products from past Best Chef winners that can be shipped straight to home kitchens.
“It might be quite the challenge to visit every restaurant run by a Food & Wine Best New Chef, but lucky for you, there are easier ways to experience the flavors of the country’s most talented chefs—from the comfort of your home,” the article states.

It went on to heap praise on Pizza Freak Co.’s Three Cheese Pizza. “Rectangular, thick-crusted, and made with a slow-fermented dough topped with premium ingredients, the frozen pies could compete with those from the best pizzerias in your city.”
Pizza Freak Co. is available in grocery stores in the Greater Philadelphia area and can be shipped directly to anyone living east of the Mississippi River.
But Kilgore and Daniels aren’t exactly resting on Pizza Freak Co.’s laurels. In the past year, Kilgore’s company, Kilgore Hospitality Group, has launched three non-pizza restaurants in San Francisco: Café Sebastian opened in November 2025, followed quickly by Madlab in December, and most recently, Ama, which debuted on September 24 of this year.
Daniels, meanwhile, brought Gloria Sports & Spirits, a sports-themed restaurant with a pizza-loaded menu, to Warrington, Pennsylvania. Pies include the Strawberry Senora (strawberry miso marinara, mozzarella, fior di latte, long hot peppers, basil and lime) and the Gamblin’ Clam (garlic cream, fior di latte, Parmesan, clams, bacon, lemon and parsley).
