According to a report from Bocaratonnews.com, “During the month of February, Steve’s Wood Fired Pizza will be donating a portion of the proceeds of each heart-shaped vegetarian pizza sold to the Boca Raton American Heart Association chapter.”

The report said, “According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, are the nation’s number one killer. While heart disease and stroke kill one in every 3.7 men, one in 2.4 women lose their lives to heart disease and stroke. With these staggering statistics, Steven Greenberg, owner of Steve’s Wood Fired Pizza, feels an obligation to contribute.”

Greenberg was quoted as saying, “We have been in the Boca Raton community since 1999 and are proud to give back. We will specially prepare the vegetarian pizza into a heart shape to bring awareness to February’s American Heart Month.”

The article stated: “The vegetarian pizza is a cheeseless pizza made with tomato sauce, grilled eggplant, zucchini, squash, mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, broccoli florets and fresh oregano.”
