FastCasual.com reports that, “Flippin’ Pizza, the 13-unit fast casual New York-style pizza concept, has signed a franchise agreement with foodservice veteran Brett Silver to transfer three existing restaurants to his ownership in the Maryland market.”

“Silver is currently the director of concessions for Levy Restaurants at the Washington Nationals Park. Flippin’ Pizza is the official pizza of the Washington Nationals. Silver has purchased three Maryland-based Flippin’ Pizza units, located in Silver Spring, Bethesda and Arundel Mills. The new franchisee has plans to open 10 Flippin’ Pizzas in the region, naming Rockville, Germantown, Gaithersburg and College Park as prime targets for expansion.”
