Flippin Pizza Rolls Out Mobile Food Trucks

Falls Church, VA (September 2010) – Flippin Pizza (www.flippinpizza.com) has gone mobile in Fairfax County.  Flippin’ Pizza recently rolled out a pair of new trucks equipped with cooking units that can bake delicious New York styles pies while on the go.  Look for these mobile trucks cruising throughout Fairfax County, selling pizza by the slice and offering the best deal in town — two slices and a drink for only $5.

Fans can track the tr""ucks on Twitter at www.twitter.com/FlippinPizzaDC or request that the trucks stop by a location by sending an email to flippinpizzatruck@gmail.com.  The truck is perfect for busy office complexes, catering jobs or swinging by a special event at schools.

Do you live or work outside Fairfax County? Don’t despair…Flippin’ Pizza is working to obtain a permit to operate its trucks in the District of Columbia, as well as in Arlington County.  Target dates are later this fall season.

Flippin’ Pizza’s menu is anchored by nine “Classic Pies,” incorporating both red and white pies with an array of premium toppings besides cheese and pepperoni, including all-natural ones such as pesto, artichoke hearts, fresh basil, fresh marinated roasted red peppers, meatballs, gorgonzola cheese and others.   Nothing artificial goes into our pies.  The dough is made fresh daily, without any added oil, sugar or high-fructose corn syrup, and then hand-tossed to produce a thin, airy crust. In addition to the first-class pies, Flippin’ Pizza also offers chopped salads, calzones and garlic knots. The restaurants are family friendly – children get a free dough ball while they watch the pie makers hand toss and prepare their pizzas.
