There’s more to Nashville than country music and the Grand Ole Opry. The city has become synonymous with spicy-hot chicken, too, and the owners of Fired Pie are hoping their peppery poultry-topped pizza will catch on in Arizona.

Fired Pie, headquartered in Phoenix, has introduced the new Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza at all 20 of its locations. It features the company’s signature housemade dough, Nashville hot sauce, mozzarella and Nashville hot chicken, topped with spicy coleslaw and chopped dill pickles.

In addition to Fired Pie’s regular crust, the Nashville Hot Chicken Pizza can be ordered with a gluten-free or cauliflower crust.

Fired Pie also has a tricky treat planned for Halloween: a customizable 11-inch, thin and crispy pizza in the shape of a jack-o-lantern, complete with edible eyes, nose and mouth formed by the customer’s favorite toppings. The Pizza-O-Lantern pies will be offered October 30-November 1 at all 20 Fired Pie stores.

Fired Pie, a fast-casual pizza concept, was co-founded in 2013 by Fred Morgan, Doug Doyle and Rico Cuomo, all veterans of California Pizza Kitchen.
