“It’s tough to be a pizzeria when you can’t serve pizza. But that’s the predicament that Boca Pizzeria at The Village at Corte Madera is in right now, because of a fire that occurred over its pizza oven last Thursday,” according to Inside Scoop San Francisco.

“Owners Shah Bahreyni and Sam Ramadan closed for the evening, expecting to reopen the next day…and then the next.

Except the culprit for the blaze, ironically, turned out to be a faulty motor over the wood-fired oven. It’s a custom piece, and estimates now are it could be another week before a replacement motor arrives.”
