Schitt’s Creek fans saw Eugene Levy’s famous eyebrows take wing and fly away (literally) in a Little Caesars ad that debuted during Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. The 30-second spot, touting the chain’s new Bacon & Cheese Crazy Puffs, also features Levy’s daughter and fellow Schitt’s Creek cast member Sarah Levy in a cameo.
Levy, the comedic icon who played the beleaguered Johnny Rose on Schitt’s Creek, kicks the spot off in what Little Caesars describes as “a hilarious, jaw-dropping moment of astonishment where the irresistible flavor of Crazy Puffs causes his iconic eyebrows to comically disappear.”
The spot, themed “Tastes Like Whoa,” showcases Little Caesars’ Crazy Puffs and the new Bacon & Cheese flavor, now available in stores nationwide. The latter is a blend of melted mozzarella, muenster and cheddar cheeses and pizza sauce, topped with applewood smoked bacon, a buttery-garlic flavored drizzle and Parmesan cheese. It joins the top-selling Pepperoni Crazy Puffs and Four Cheese varieties.
“This ad is all about celebrating the bold, crave-worthy fun that is Little Caesars, and the addition of Bacon & Cheese Crazy Puffs takes it to a whole new level,” said Greg Hamilton, Little Caesars’ chief marketing officer. “With Eugene Levy at the helm, we’ve created a spot that’s as deliciously entertaining as Crazy Puffs themselves. Working with such iconic talent showcases our commitment to delivering not only amazing flavors but also unforgettable brand experiences.”
