Led by an experienced and capable management team, Fabristeel is an excellent fit for Enodis.  Headquartered in Singapore, Fabristeel manufactures hot and cold foodservice equipment, including customized solutions, for the hotel, quick service and institutional markets at ISO 9001-certified plants in Singapore and China (Guangzhou).  With an extensive service and distribution network in more than 10 countries, and sales offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Malaysia, it is well-placed to win new business and to support major key accounts. Its customers throughout China and Asia Pacific include the fastest growing US-based QSR chains, Singapore Airlines In-flight Catering Centres, the Raffles City Hotel Singapore and the Marriott Hotel in Hyderabad, India.

Fabristeel has built a solid reputation in the project sector.  Having established relationships with US and local QSR chains, as well as dedicated service operations, Fabristeel significantly expands Enodis’ manufacturing, distribution and service capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.  Its strong purchasing and sourcing function will also add to group capabilities.

Commenting on the acquisition, Dave McCulloch, CEO of Enodis said:

“The acquisition of Fabristeel is a key step in our strategy of building our presence in the fast growing Asian market.  Leveraging the Fabristeel platform along with our existing infrastructure and service networks will allow faster deployment of our global brands into new market segments.  At the same time, Fabristeel enhances our capability to support our existing and new customersparticularly international chains.  We look forward to working with the Fabristeel management to bring significant value to the group.”
