Enegren Brewing Company in Moorpark is celebrating its three-year anniversary with an open house event at the brewery on August 9th. This is a momentous occasion for the company, which is currently building a new brewery in Moorpark that will quintuple (5x) their brewing capacity.
To commemorate the occasion, Enegren Brewing brewed a special doppelsticke (double secret) batch of their flagship beer, Valkyrie Altbier. This special one-time only batch of beer, named EBC Mk. III, is brewed with German malts and hops and aged in a Belle Meade Bourbon barrel for five months. The brew has subtle bourbon and oak flavors from the barrel that complement the caramel, toffee, raisin and sweet flavors from the brew. Plenty of this special beer will be available for tasting and in bottles at the event to which the general public is invited.

About Enegren Brewing Company
Founded in 2010, Enegren Brewing Company is a small production brewery located in Moorpark dedicated to bringing good beer to the surrounding community. Enegren currently produces two flagship beers – Valkyrie Altbier and Protector Imperial IPA – in addition to various seasonal offerings and special releases. The rapidly growing company plans to expand to a new location a block from their current brewhouse with a bigger tasting room and a bigger and more water-efficient brewery by the end of the year.
