Eagle Boys Pizza will open a record 50 new stores across Australia this year, as part of a $20 million expansion strategy which will cement the company’s position as the country’s second largest pizza maker

It comes as Eagle Boys today opened its 300th store, located at Ryde, Sydney.  During the past three years, Eagle Boys has opened 108 stores across the country and was recently named a BRW Fast Franchise.

The new expansion strategy will see Eagle Boys grow its store numbers by more than 17% in 2010.   Half of the 50 new stores will be concentrated in Sydney and Adelaide.

Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said the company’s double-digit store and sales growth was being fuelled by growing demand for better pizzas, online ordering, strong sales growth and a high level of inquiries from potential franchisees.
