Donatos Pizza will soon roll out a new AI voice ordering system that will automate phone orders across its 174 locations. The rollout is expected to be completed by May 2025.
The move follows the anticipated sunsetting of DoorDash AI’s automated ordering features at the end of April. According to a press release, Donatos chose Revmo AI after evaluating multiple voice AI providers and made its decision based on criteria such as customer experience and order conversion performance.
“We’re always looking for innovative ways to better serve our customers and drive our business forward,” said Kevin King, CEO and president of Donatos Pizza. “Revmo’s voice AI ordering system allows us to provide a more convenient and consistent experience for our guests. We expect this technology to not only delight our customers but also increase order conversions and revenue across our stores.”

The voice AI initiative is part of Donatos’ broader restaurant automation strategy, which aims to reduce the burden of routine tasks on staff and allow team members to focus on hospitality. With support from the company’s IT team, Revmo’s system is being integrated into the Donatos point-of-sale platform.
Revmo’s platform features a proprietary voice engine designed to provide natural, human-like conversations. It also supports secure credit card transactions and can automatically recognize and apply coupons. These capabilities are intended to streamline the phone ordering process while minimizing errors and reducing wait times.
“Donatos conducted thorough evaluations of voice AI solutions, and we’re honored they chose Revmo,” said Ryan Louis, CEO of Revmo AI. “Our mission is to deliver a voice ordering experience so natural and seamless that it genuinely elevates the customer experience while improving operational efficiency for the restaurant.”
