According to the Wall Street Journal, “Domino’s Pizza Inc. (DPZ) sees the consumer standing on shaky ground in 2010, though sees some hope for a slow recovery.”

“‘We’re operating in a pretty fragile consumer environment that’s going to continue throughout the year,’ Domino’s Chairman and Chief Executive David Brandon said Wednesday at an investor update meeting. The pizza-delivery chain expects that a beefier advertising budget and a host of new products, including revamped pizza recipe, can help increase the number of sales it makes while the average.”
