Domino’s Pizza has proven it can cut its prices in half and still make money. So why not do it again?

The world’s largest pizza chain will offer 50% off all menu-priced pizzas from June 3 through June 9 in celebration of the fast-approaching summer season. The discount is available only for online orders.

“The first day of summer is June 20, but you don’t have to wait to celebrate,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president/chief brand officer. “Start the festivities early by trying our newest crust—New York Style.” She added that the discount is “an incredible value and perfect for summer pool and backyard parties.”

The discount applies to all pizzas ordered through Domino’s website and mobile app.

Cutting prices for limited times and offering free pizza has become an ongoing strategy for Domino’s. Last year saw the chain unveil its Emergency Pizza promotion, in which customers who placed an online carryout order of $7.99 or more qualified for a free medium two-topping pizza if they signed into or joined the revamped Domino’s Rewards program within seven days. That offer ran for four months in the fall and early winter of 2023.

In a fourth-quarter 2023 earnings call on February 26, Domino’s CEO Russell Wiener said the Emergency Pizza promotion was a “resounding success” and dramatically boosted Domino’s Rewards membership.

Meanwhile, the brand offered a 50% discount off all pizzas on the menu during March Madness 2024—again restricting the deal to online orders. Domino’s offered the same deal as a back-to-school special last August.
