VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., December 14, 2006 – Domino’s Pizza (NYSE:  DPZ), the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, recently announced the promotion of Buddy Carpenter to director of corporate operations for the Virginia and North Carolina regions.  He will report directly to Domino’s Vice President of Team USA (Domino’s corporate stores), Scott Hinshaw.

Carpenter, a four-year veteran of Domino’s Pizza, has spent the last eighteen months as manager of corporate operations for 13 stores in North Carolina.  He built an incredibly strong team of general managers and assistant managers who, in turn, have driven great results for the company.  He also led all of Team USA stores in customer service scores.  Prior to this position, Carpenter served as a general manager at a Domino’s Pizza store.

In his new position, Carpenter will oversee the 58 Team USA stores in eastern Virginia and eastern North Carolina.

“Buddy is a results-driven leader with a strong performance record,” said Hinshaw.  “He loves a good challenge and takes each and every project head-on with an open mind.  I am confident his expertise will prove valuable in the Virginia and North Carolina areas.”

Carpenter resides in New Bern, North Carolina with his wife, Ashley and his two daughters, Kristin and Tayleigh.
