According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, “Two pizza chains with a big presence in metro Atlanta are rolling out promotions tied to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.”

“Domino’s Pizza Inc. (NYSE: DPZ) has unveiled a best-pizza bracket where fans can vote in a pizza tournament. The Domino’s Pizza Bracket will feature pizzas seeded based on popularity, and placed in different regions. As fans vote, certain pizzas will advance, eventually leading to a champion pizza, which coincides with the Final Four. Voting will begin Thursday on Domino’s Facebook page. Pizza Hut also is jumping on the basketball tournament with a promotion of its own. The company will give away free pizza if a No. 16 seed defeats a No. 1 seed. Considering this has never happened in tournament history, Pizza Hut — a division of Louisville, Ky.-based Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM) — is likely not going to distribute any freebies.”
