“Domino’s Pizza Malaysia plans to expand to Sabah and Sarawak in the near future as it sees huge potential in the two states,” according to The Business Times.

“President and chief operating officer of Domino’s Malaysia and Singapore Ba U Shan-Ting said the company is currently in the process of exploring the markets there.

“We really hope to expand our business there as we see a lot of potential in the two markets,” he told reporters after the launch of the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ campaign today.

He said Domino’s currently has 89 pizza stores in Peninsular Malaysia, and being a market leader in the delivery segment, it plans to make its presence felt in Sabah and Sarawak.

“We are working on this…especially on logistics and operational issues but nothing has firmed yet,” he said.

At present, Ba said the group allocated about seven per cent of its annual sales revenue for advertising and promotion purposes to further strengthen the brand as number one pizza delivery company in Malaysia.”
