Australian owned and operated pizza maker Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (“Domino’s”) has appointed a new Development Chef to drive the creation of new products for the company.

The new Development Chef, Louise Turner, will be based in Brisbane at the Domino’s Luv Lab, a dedicated research and development kitchen.

Louise will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of Domino’s product development program in Australia and New Zealand.

Louise holds an Honours Degree in Hotel and Business Management from Nottingham Trent University in England and has significant experience in menu development with British Airways as well as catering and food management experience in Australia.

Domino’s CEO Don Meij said recent sales had been aided by the diversification of the store menu – a trend which is expected to continue in the future.

“Customers have really embraced Domino’s new Chicken Kickers and Choc Fudge Brownies so we are continuing to look at new pizza and non-pizza products,” he said.

“Louise will draw on her experience to develop a range of exciting new products which meet customer taste buds and our high quality standards.”

Australian owned and operated, Domino’s and its franchisees have 457 stores across Australia and New Zealand, employing more than 11,000 casual and full-time staff and making more than 50 million pizzas each year.
