According to The Californian, “the American Red Cross, Carmel Area and Monterey-San Benito Counties Chapters, and Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria in Seaside are teaming up for a one day fundraiser benefiting the American Red Cross.”

“Order a large or family size pizza from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Pizzeria, 880 Broadway Ave., Seaside, for dine-in, take-out or delivery and 40 percent of the proceeds go to American Red Cross local chapters.”

“The Red Cross will be bringing ERVs (Emergency Response Vehicles) and information on Disaster Preparedness and will be in the parking lot from 4 to 8 p.m. Also purchase a large or family size dine-in or take-out pizza on Aug. 25 and enter to win a free ‘Me-n-Ed’s School Tour.”

“Me-n-Ed’s will give a class of up to 20 students a guided tour of the pizzeria and teach kids how to make their own personal pizza. Enter to win at the Order Counter,” the story said.
