To celebrate its 40th anniversary of serving New York-style pizza, Denver-based Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta, with 19 locations across Colorado, has teamed up with Icelantic Skis, a Golden-based ski brand, for a promotion that brings together two of the state’s most cherished pastimes: great pizza and skiing. Additionally, the brand is celebrating National Pizza Month throughout October with a special deal for all pizza lovers.
The brand is giving away 19 pairs of limited-edition skis, one at each location. Designed in collaboration with Icelantic Skis, the exclusive skis feature a throwback pizza-inspired design.
“Our 40th anniversary is a significant milestone for us, and we wanted to celebrate it in a way that truly reflects our connection to our Colorado communities,” said Jeremy Betlach, Anthony’s director of retail operations. “Partnering with Icelantic Skis was a natural fit: handmade Colorado pizza with handmade Colorado skis, a perfect match.”
The collaboration is made with Icelantic’s award-winning Nomad 105. Constructed by hand, it features a 100% Poplar Wood Core described as “lightweight and responsive, perfect for playful and fun freeriding.”
“Partnering with Anthony’s to design a throwback pattern for the top sheet of their 40th anniversary skis has been a blast,” said Sam Warren, director of partnerships and Winter on the Rocks director at Icelantic Skis. “This collaboration is a celebration of two things Coloradoans are passionate about, food and the outdoors, and we can’t wait to see the community rally around this giveaway.”
Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta will also roll out special deals this October to celebrate National Pizza Month. Beginning October 1, guests and pizza enthusiasts can indulge in a huge slice of New York-style cheese pizza for only $4, or bring pizza home to share with two large 18” thin-crust cheese pizzas for $40 with the code 40TH ANNIVERSARY.
“National Pizza Month is finally here, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate it with our loyal guests,” said Peter Counter, Anthony’s manager of brand development. “This offer is just a small way for us to say thank you for all of the incredible support we’ve received over the past 40 years. We’re thrilled to serve New York-style pizza, and we look forward to sharing our love for great food with all of our communities.”
Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta was founded in 1984 by New York native Henry Mann. Anthony’s has grown from its first downtown Denver location to 19 stores across the state. Its menu has expanded to include Italian pastas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
