According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, “A City Pages blog post gives a sneak peek of what changes might be in store for the Cossetta Italian Market & Pizzeria in St. Paul, which is receiving $2 million in loans from the city to help pay for a more than $7 million renovation and expansion.”
“A meat market and new bakery will occupy the present restaurant space at 211 Seventh St. W.; a new building taking up the restaurants present’ parking lot will include the eatery, as well as a pastry shop and gelateria. There will be a new parking lot on Smith Avenue. The plan is for construction to finish at the end of summer 2011, which is also Cossetta’s 100th anniversary.”
