Commercial Pop Up Toasters Save Restaurants Time and Money

Indianapolis, Ind., August 8, 2007 — Commercial pop up toasters are built to last against the everyday wear and tear that most home appliances cannot withstand.

While most domestic toasters are constructed with plastic components and weigh just a couple of pounds, commercial pop up toasters are built with stainless steel, all metal components and weigh upward of 10 to 15 pounds.

Quantity and quality of toasted products are much higher when using a commercially-rated toaster. They can produce over 200 slices of toast per hour. The toast produced is perfectly browned because of the adjustable electronic controls.

A number of commercial pop up toasters are NSF listed, meaning they have been tested and assessed to be of high performance quality and safe for use in commercial applications. Most domestic toasters are not even allowed in commercial foodservice operations.

“The NSF listing [on commercial pop up toasters] makes a huge difference. Restaurants need those units and you can’t get them at chain stores,” said Dan Merriman, a Product Consultant at Central Restaurant Products.

The heavy duty pop up toaster from Waring is Central Restaurant Products’ best-selling pop up toaster. The toaster is commercially-rated and carries the NSF listing. Click here for more information.
