CiCi's Pizza Joplin Tornado Fundraiser Donates $5,000 to Joplin Salvation Army

CiCi’s Pizza raised more than $5,000 at a fundraiser on June 3 to help aid residents of Joplin, Missouri with their tornado relief efforts. 15 CiCi’s locations throughout Missouri and Eastern Kansas participated in the fundraiser, and each location donated 10 percent of their total all-day sales to the Joplin Community Salvation Army to help raise the money.

CiCi’s corporate office matched the donation and gave $5,000 to CiCi’s team members in Joplin who were affected by last month’s tornado, making the total donation amount $10,000. The CiCi’s restaurant in Joplin was destroyed by the recent tornado, but will be rebuilt and CiCi’s will remain in Joplin.
