Would you buy a $19 milkshake?

Let’s try that again. Would you buy a $19 milkshake that, if you shared it with two other people, you might not finish?

A writer from Axios Northwest Arkansas recently tried The Breakfast Club milkshake from Flashback Pizza and Milkshakes in downtown Rogers, Arkansas, and confirmed it was worth the money. The milkshake in question, reports Alex Golden, is chocolate flavored and comes with Cocoa Krispies topped with whipped cream, a waffle and a donut.

“Two other people and I shared The Breakfast Club and still didn’t finish the $19 shake,” Golden wrote. “After we got past the sheer ridiculousness, we were able to appreciate the flavor, which at the end of the day was a solid chocolate-craving fulfiller.”

That isn’t the only indulgent beverage on the menu either. The Revenge of the Nerds contains cotton candy, Twizzlers and Pop Rocks. “Another [milkshake] has a whole Nutty Buddy candy bar,” Golden wrote. “It’s chaos over there.”

If you hadn’t already caught on, Flashback Pizza and Milkshakes is an ‘80s and ‘90s-themed pizza place with a wildly imaginative beverage menu. As Golden points out, the menu isn’t exactly confined to those two decades, though. Instead, it’s more of a pop culture smorgasbord. Pizzas, for example, are named for pop icons like Blondie, Patrick Swayze and Madonna, and fictional icons like the characters from Friends, Tony Soprano, and Bill and Ted of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

The pizza menu is just as imaginative as the beverage menu, too. The Blondie is topped with mozzarella, Parmesan, mushrooms, caramelized onions, garlic oil and a truffle aioli swirl. This was the pie Golden tried—he insisted those who also try it add prosciutto.

“It’s such a comforting slice packed with garlic flavor, and the prosciutto adds some salt and bite,” Golden wrote.

Another eye-popping pizza is the Pretty Woman: Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, spinach, red onion, black olives and cherry tomatoes. The Weekend at Bernie’s comes with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, bacon, caramelized onions and pineapple topped with a pesto swirl.

The decor at Flashback Pizza and Milkshakes is rife with nostalgia for Gen Xers and millennials. Boomboxes, corded telephones, cassettes and ‘90s movie posters adorn the walls. Your bill, Golden writes, even comes in a Blockbuster VHS case.

Perhaps the $19 milkshake is just a nod to Back to the Future: a sign of things to come.
