Chef and television host Andrew Zimmern is partnering with Casey’s to promote the return of its BBQ Brisket Pizza, a limited-time menu item available through September 2.
Zimmern, a four-time James Beard and Emmy award winner, is known for spotlighting regional and culturally significant food across the globe. He says Casey’s brisket-topped pizza—and the C-store chain’s pizza in general—has always stood out to him.
“I love gas station food and have tasted three lifetimes’ worth throughout my travels, and Casey’s pizza rises to the top,” said Zimmern. “Their homemade pizza is packed with big flavors, unique textures and fresh ingredients. The BBQ Brisket Pizza is a perfect example of that. I can’t wait for their guests to rediscover it this summer.”

The pizza features made-from-scratch dough topped with Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and smoked beef brisket that is dry-rubbed and slow-cooked for up to 16 hours. Jalapeños, red onions, and a ranch drizzle finish the pie.
“When guests started asking to bring back our BBQ Brisket Pizza, we listened,” said Brad Haga, senior vice president of prepared food and dispensed beverages at Casey’s. “It’s become a guest favorite, especially during the summer months.”
The pizza is available on original or thin crust and can be ordered via the Casey’s app. A promotional offer will run from May 23 through May 26, during which customers can buy one large pizza and get another for 50% off.
