The beloved Polar Express has been a magical Christmas tale for children, and Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad comes closest to bringing that story to life in its own way: the Santa Pizza Train.

The two-hour ride is a combination of the Family Pizza Train with a dash of inspiration from the beloved children’s storybook.  The Baier family of Tony’s Riverside in Spooner, Wisconsin, provides the half-pepperoni, half-sausage pizzas (and also cheese pizzas if you call ahead of time.)

The children will get to visit Santa in his private car. On the way back, if the families are still peckish, they can eat holiday cookies and drink hot chocolate.

The special rides begin November 16 in Trego, Wisconsin, and goes on until December 22, the weekend before Christmas. The tickets are $20 per child, $30 per adult, and $100 per family.
