Dr Pepper in a pizza sauce? For fans of the classic soft drink (such as PMQ’s editor in chief), Round Table Pizza has made it happen.
As part of a new Dr Pepper-inspired seasonal menu available through January 3, Round Table has introduced the Dr Pepper BBQ Pizza, featuring a creamy garlic sauce and Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, described as a “sweet-and-smoky creation that blends Dr Pepper’s signature flavor with Round Table’s BBQ sauce.”
The pie is topped with a three-cheese blend, crispy bacon and mini pepperoni, then finished with an extra drizzle of Dr Pepper BBQ sauce and fresh green onions.
The Dr Pepper BBQ Pizza is part of a line-up of limited-time menu items inspired by the beverage. Fans can also dig into the Dr Pepper BBQ Classic or Boneless Wings, coated in Dr Pepper BBQ sauce and topped with crispy bacon, along with the Bacon & Cheese Tots with Dr Pepper BBQ Dipping Sauce.
Also joining the seasonal menu is Round Table’s Margherita Pizza, topped with marinara sauce, a melty three-cheese blend, fresh whole-milk mozzarella, Italian herb seasoning and fresh whole-leaf basil.
