California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is celebrating Pi Day with an offer that commemorates the famous mathematical constant while also driving loyalty program sign-ups.
On Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14, guests can enjoy The Original BBQ Chicken, Pepperoni or Traditional Cheese pizza for just $3.14 with any purchase of $25 or more. But the offer is only available to CPK Rewards members, the company said.
“Pi Day has become a mathematically proven pizza holiday, and we’re thrilled to deliver an amazing value to help guests celebrate,” said Chef Paul Pszybylski, CPK’s executive chef and vice president of culinary innovation. “Your favorite CPK pizza at an unbeatable price is the best value equation I can think of.”
Although the Pi Day offer is exclusive to loyalty members, guests can enroll for CPK Rewards at the chain’s website or via the CPK app anytime through March 14 to get this special two-day deal.
Additionally, CPK, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, has been building up its loyalty program membership with another special offer in March. When guests place an order in-restaurant or for pick-up, they receive a thank-you card. If they bring the card back on their next visit, a manager opens it to reveal a prize, such as discounts on meals, gift cards and even a cash prize of up to $40,000. Again, that promotion, which runs through May 11, is open only to CPK Rewards members.
In 1985, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) opened its first restaurant in Beverly Hills and introduced diners to gourmet California-inspired pizza. Today CPK is a global brand with restaurants in 27 states, as well as nine countries and U.S. territories.
