Talk about love at first slice. Following a Leap Day tradition in which women propose marriage to their partners, a woman in Basildon, Essex, England, today popped the question to her boyfriend with pizza—and made headlines in the process.

Sarah Bayes, 23, dressed up as a Pizza Hut UK employee and surprised Phill Miles, 33, with a special delivery: a Pizza Hut box containing a pie decorated with a heart made out of olives, two rings and the words “Marry Me?” written on the inside lid of the box. “I wanted our engagement to be a moment that was meaningful for mine and Phill’s relationship,” Bayes told the Mirror Online.

Pizza Hut UK hatched the romantic scheme as part of a Leap Day promotion. A post on the company’s Facebook page invited fans to volunteer to share their special moment on video. The post earned more than 1,200 interactions, and the company chose Bayes to propose to Miles. As cameras rolled, Bayes drove by  motorcycle to the home the couple shares in Basildon and presented the pizza—and popped the question—in the doorway.

Oh, and to answer your question – he said yes.
