According to a news report from www.press-citizen.com, “During the week of Valentine’s Day, eating a heart-shaped pizza can help save a life.”
“Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza in Coralville, 53 Second Ave., is sponsoring its annual Valentine’s fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network benefiting University of Iowa Children’s Hospital,” said the story. “From Feb. 14 through 17, $1 of every heart-shaped pizza purchased at Boston’s will be donated to University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Boston’s also will sell paper hearts from Jan. 28 through Feb. 17 for $1 that patrons can decorate to display at the restaurant, with proceeds going to the children’s hospital. John Lillibridge, general manager of the Coralville restaurant, said Boston’s has participated in the nationwide fundraiser every year since it opened in April 2005.”
