Fast casual pizza chain Blaze Pizza is opening a store in Kuwait in March, with plans for additional stores in Mexico, Asia and Europe, according to The Los Angeles Times.

The LeBron James-backed company based in Pasadena, California, currently has 248 outlets in the US and Canada. Chief executive Jim Mizes told The L.A. Times that Blaze has set a goal to open 1,000 stores and go public as soon as 2022.

To stay ahead of the competition, Blaze has started testing delivery, recently offered promoted a buy-one-get-one-free offering, and has been updating its menu.
