Fresh Origins Citrus BasilGold Pie:
14 oz. Dough ball
Olive Oil/minced garlic base
7 oz. Shredded mozzarella
½ – 1 oz. Fresh Origins Micro Basil Mix™
White truffle oil
Salt & pepper
8-12 Prosciutto roses

Lemon and Orange zest
To make your prosciutto roses, take one slice and wrap it around your fingertip, pinch the bottom to make a seal and spread the “petals”. Make sure the cup is large enough to hold one or 2 of your Fresh Origins Micro Marigolds.
Stretch your dough to 14” and brush your entire crust and base with olive oil. Add your minced garlic to taste. Top with your shredded mozzarella and bake at 550° for about 7-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and your crust is golden brown. This may vary from oven to oven.
Remove your pie from the oven and add your Fresh Origins Micro Basil Mix. Drizzle with your white truffle oil, balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper to taste. Then place your prosciutto roses, at least one per slice, and set 1-2 Micro Marigolds in each rose. You may add additional Micro Marigolds if you wish for flavor and color. Finally zest with lemon and orange peel for that kick of citrus to accent your Micro Marigolds and offset your Micro Basil Mix. Slice, serve and enjoy!
