“Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza has launched “Coal Fired and Craft Beer,” featuring half off craft beers every Monday and Tuesday in all 34 Anthony’s locations nationwide, including its Darien restaurant,” according to the Darien News.

“Anthony’s craft beer menus are unique to each restaurant and based on customer favorites from local brewers.

Guests can select from a menu featuring well-known craft beers like Holy Mackerel (South Florida), Blue Point Toasted Lager (New York), Flying Fish IPA (New Jersey), Hooker Blonde Ale (Connecticut), Dog Fish 90-Minute IPA (Philadelphia, Delaware) and Penn Pilsner (Pittsburgh).

Servers can also suggest the perfect pairing, matching beers with one of Anthony’s “well done” menu items.

Known for its high-energy atmosphere and signature menu items, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza uses 800-degree anthracite coal-burning ovens and the highest quality ingredients.

Anthracite is known to be the “cleanest” of coals, burning smoke free with extremely high heat to create a unique taste and perfect pies.

In addition to its famous pizzas, the restaurant’s simple and consistent menu features award-winning “Italian soul food” creations including coal-oven-roasted chicken wings with caramelized onions, pork ribs with vinegar peppers, home-style meatballs made from a family recipe and eggplant Marino, named for Anthony’s partner and Hall of Fame football legend Dan Marino.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza’s food and service have continually been ranked “very good to excellent” by Zagat Survey, the distinguished dining and entertainment ratings guide and is a “Most Popular Restaurant” in Zagat’s 2011 Miami/South Florida edition.

Anthony’s was recently featured in the New York Times and has received rave reviews from Newsday. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza has 34 locations throughout Florida, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. For more information, visit www.anthonyscoalfiredpizza.com.
