(Press release), Washington, DC, May 31, 2013 – Members of The American Pizza Community (APC) will be meeting with Members of Congress and their staff during their second annual legislative fly-In in Washington DC, June 5-6.  APC members and franchisees will meet with more than 30 Congressional offices about polices that affect pizza store owners.  The pizza industry is a large, vital part of the economy and a driver of jobs. The APC represents 20,000 pizzerias and 400,000 team members.

The coalition includes Blackjack Pizza, Breadeaux Pizza, CiCi's Pizza, Domino’s Pizza, Figaro’s Italian Pizza, Godfather’s Pizza, Hungry Howie’s, the International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association, Little Caesars, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza, Papa John’s Pizza, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Papa's Pizza To-Go, Papa Romano's, Pizza Schmizza and Sam & Louie's Pizza. Supplier partners include Coca-Cola, Leprino Foods Company, the National Pork Producers Council, Paradise Tomato Kitchens, PepsiCo and Tyson.
