Will Harris, owner of A-Town Pizza in Aurora, Colorado, stays on top of the video marketing movement. His shop’s website and Facebook page make extensive use of videos that play up the pizzeria’s strengths—wood-fired pies, grilled wings, a family-friendly atmosphere, a strong beer selection and Harris’ likable, all-smiles personality.
So it’s no surprise that Harris used Facebook video to announce a buy-one get-one-free special for the 4th of July this year. The BOGO offer included both pizzas and beer. Harris posted the 15-second video shortly after midnight on Monday, and as of Tuesday afternoon it had garnered more than 10,000 views and 81 likes.
A-Town Pizza also touts an active Vine account, while the company shares video content from other sources as well on Facebook. Recent curated videos include a pair of pigs taking a cat for a walk, a clip from “Ancient Aliens” and a game of foot darts.
