The holidays are back, and so is Pizza Hut’s Triple Treat Box. It features two medium, one-topping pizzas, five breadsticks and a dessert, all served up in limited-edition holiday packaging.
Pizza Hut might be struggling on the sales side lately—the CEO of parent company Yum! Brands recently said the company has considered looking for a new owner—but there don’t appear to be any cutbacks to the chain’s advertising budget.
For starters, celebrity spokesperson Josh Allen of NFL fame has resurfaced in a new seasonal ad campaign for the Triple Treat Box. There’s also a new 30-second spot (see below) featuring a live reindeer that loses its cool at a holiday party—it’s genuinely funny stuff.
Finally, Pizza Hut will turn up the festive fun with new Triple Treat Box packaging that turns into a white elephant game when scanned later this holiday season. The game will unlock special promo codes, gift cards and free treats for gaming enthusiasts to enjoy.
