According to a news report from theday.com, “Certainly, the pizza should be distinguishable from the pizza box.”

“Score one for pizzetta, a trendy new restaurant at 7 Water St. in downtown Mystic that’s been gaining notice even though word of its presence has been largely limited to its Web site, pizzettamystic.com,” said the story. “Our whole philosophy is summarized on our pizza box,” pizzetta owner Christopher Owens says, displaying the cardboard on which his manifesto, in shades of gray, surrounds a mostly red logo. “Find the art in whatever you do and live it …,” the box advises. “At pizzetta we believe in sustainable business practices and eco-friendly choices.” The thin, Neapolitan-style pies that tuck inside the boxes are pretty distinctive, too. pizzetta’s philosophy — “We believe in the three R’s: reduce, re-use and recycle” — is repeated on its Web site, which contains links to the restaurant’s menus, to a page highlighting environmental and other groups, and to a social networking site that features slideshows, videos and blogs.”
