Pi Pizzeria has come to Miami, but the name retains its St. Louis origins. That's because the numerical equivalent of PI, 3.14, just happens to match the Gateway City's area code, 314.

Miaminewtimes.com recalls that President Obama, a Chicago native, had a slice of this St. Louis pizza and traded his love for deep dish for this new style. St. Louis Pi owners Chris Sommers and Fran Uible decided to expand their pizzeria operations and their first location was our nation's capital. From there the two owners opened in Cincinnati and now in Miami.
