Temperatures around the nation are in the deep freeze, but Cart-Driver is a Denver pizzeria that features a "whiteout" vegetarian pie that will give you the calories you need to beat the cold.

Denver Westword food blogger Chelsea Keeney says the white pizza's four toppings, mozzarella, smoked ricotta, basil and garlic, are all layered onto a thin crust that's lightly crispy on the bottom and yet somehow maintains maintains its fluff. Granted, She adds that the wood-fired crust at Cart-Driver, inspired by Neapolitan originals, is a great middle ground to bring pizza lovers together, landing somewhere beyond ultra-thin, crispy crusts without ever approaching big or doughy.
