We have noted the social consciousness of pizzeria owners before, but a peanut butter and jelly sandwich shop owner in Oklahoma recently took direct action when she noticed a dumpster diver had been rummaging through the trash looking for food.

KFOR, Channel 4 in Oklahoma City, that it broke her heart to know that someone was so desperate for food that they resorted to digging through the trash. She runs P.B. Jams, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich spot in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Jiron decided to help the person out. She placed a note (pictured) on the dumpster and at the front door that offered a free meal to the hungry digger. No one has yet claimed the Pb&J.
