(Press Release) LOS ANGELES, Calif., February 28, 2013 – Chef Anthony Carron along with partners and co-owners Adam Fleischman and Allen Ravert, announced today that 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria will open in Santa Monica later this year.

“Since we opened our Westwood location just over a year ago, we’ve been getting requests from all over Los Angeles to open more locations,” said Anthony Carron, Chef and Creator of 800 Degrees.  “With offices, families, locals and tourists all within blocks of our location, we expect Santa Monica to be even busier for us than Westwood.”

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria will open in Fall 2013 at 120 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica, California, 90401.  The Santa Monica location will have approximately 120 seats in over 5,000 square feet of space, significantly larger than the original location.  Similar to the recently announced expansion in Westwood, 800 Degrees Santa Monica will have a stand-alone deli, take-out and retail space.  In addition to providing take-out and to-go orders for the surrounding community, the stand alone deli space will sell branded 800 Degrees products, like Olive Oil and Peppers, along side dry pasta, prosciuttos, cheeses, vinegars, and other classic Italian groceries.    The deli at 800 Degrees Santa Monica will also sell classic hot and cold Italian sandwiches on pizza dough bread baked in the wood-burning oven.   The Santa Monica location will also have its own parking with nearly 90 parking spaces.

The Santa Monica announcement follows the announcement of an 800 Degrees location in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and the expansion of its original Westwood location to accommodate a larger to go and takeaway business.

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria serves customized personal pizzas prepared to each guest’s liking and baked in around a minute in an 800 degree proprietary wood-burning oven, right before their eyes. After opening its Westwood Village location on January 3, 2012 to rave reviews, 800 Degrees has been turning out, on average, 800-1,200 pizzas per day, serving over 250,000 pizzas in its first year.

800 Degrees is a partnership between Chef Anthony Carron, Umami Restaurant Group’s Adam Fleischman and Allen Ravert.  For more information on 800 Degrees, visit www.800degreespizza.com.
