Latest foodservice and hospitality equipment innovation improve business productivity

(Chicago, Ill.) Restaurant-and-hospitality industry professionals on the lookout for the latest front- and back-of-the-house equipment to drive productivity and revenue have only one place to be this May – the 2007 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, held at McCormick Place in Chicago, May 19-22. Among the products and services of the event’s more than 2,000 exhibitors, attendees will find the newest ordering and payment technologies, energy-saving equipment, water-conserving dishwashers, high-speed combi ovens, hi-tech beverage-blending machines, small-footprint refrigeration designs, and much more.

“Technology and innovation in restaurant-and-hospitality industry equipment has never been more diverse, and many products on the market today are designed not only to perform the function for which the equipment is intended, but also to conserve energy and water, increase productivity and save space,” said William C. Anton, FMP, convention chairman for the 2007 Show, and chairman and founder of Anton Airfood, Inc. “No other industry trade show features more new product launches than our Show, and restaurant operators will find every type of equipment, from dining room to kitchen to back office, to improve their business.”

The Show’s Kitchen Innovations® Pavilion will host the 2007 Kitchen Innovations Award recipients, as selected by an independent panel of experts to be among the most innovative in the world, and will feature live demonstrations of the winning products. Attendees can explore how to turn food waste into easily disposable liquids; braise, smoke, steam, fry, chill, freeze and defrost food items faster and more efficiently; and clean and sanitize with less water waste. In addition, many of the award-winning products are eco-friendly by conserving energy and water.
