“Thousands of pizza vouchers are being sold every hour on a daily deal site and there’s still two days to go,” according to The Telegraph. “Group buying site Living Social has teamed up with Pizza Hut to offer medium pizzas for just $2 – and the deal is going nuts. The number of people who have grabbed the pizza deal stands 111,395 (as at 12.04am AEST).

Pizza buyers can get up to eight vouchers each and must use them before 31 July – which would mean almost a pizza a week between now and then. If they keep selling at this rate Pizza Hut will have to cook up more than 5000 $2 pizzas a day.”
