Here is a resource for promotional ideas that also provides advice and many tips for managing your restaurant better. There is a free promotions page, hospitality news, entertainment news and a whole lot more. Take a look at some of those features below. These are just a few sections we wanted to highlight, but there’s much more on this site. Many of the tips and articles are directed at nightclubs and bars, but are universal in their applications.
What we liked about this site:
Managing - There are four categories in this area; Managing, Marketing, Personnel and Planning. Located under each category are nine to ten articles that offer advice or tips for your business. Examples of some of the articles are: Six ways to get your staff to speak up, Marketing your promotions in-house, Priority-improving customer relations, and more.
Promotions - Here you can find six-month promo planners, six-month events calendar, promotions checklist and a couple of other categories. There is a monthly promo calendar, but only three or four months have promotions in them. Those months are December, January, February and March.
Hospitality Industry News - This is a news area with many restaurant news posts. There are also some marketing and promotions articles.
Top Ten Lists - This site also has a Top Ten List of articles such as Top Ten PR Tips for Small Businesses, Top Ten Commandments for Managers and Business Owners, Top Ten Success Management Principals and Top Ten Driving Principals of the New Economy.
Food Channel- This area has more recipes than you can shake a stick at. Various categories such as Italian, Chicken Wings, Mexican, barbeque and more.
