Offer free kisses to all your customers. Using newspapers and radio, advertise that you are going to give away free kisses on Valentine's Day.

Hershey's Chocolate Kisses are available by the case at easily affordable prices. To arouse curiosity, however, the newspaper and radio ads do not mention that the kisses are Hershey's Kisses. Your customers will have to come into your restaurant to find out what kind of kisses they will be getting.

(30 seconds, live announcer)

This (day of week) is Valentine's Day and we are giving free kisses away to our (name of restaurant) customers for the entire family--even a sweet kiss for your Valentine!lips

Come on in and enjoy your favorite mouth-watering pizza-and be our Valentine!Come on in and enjoy your favorite mouth-watering pizza-and be our valentine. We'll give you kisses during lunch and two kisses at dinner.

At (name of restaurant) you get great pizzas and free pizzas and free kisses-because you are so special.

So come on it (day of week) and don't forget to say, "How about a kiss?" (Name of restaurant and address)

SWEETHEART'S DAY

Offer a dinner for two (two of the same entrees) with or without a bottle or carafe of wine at a discount. Promote through local papers, student papers, windshield flyers or doorknobbers, flyers on college bulletin boards. During lunch hours, you could offer two small pizzas, sandwiches or salads (two of the same) with a free dessert.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS

Feature heart-shaped pizzas, heart-shaped cakes, decorate with hearts. Give red carnations to ladies.
