NEW IDEAS FOR SELLING MORE PIZZA

Where Are They Now?

By Steve Green

We thought we would take a look back at three pizza operators who were featured on previous covers of PMQ to prove a point. Anyone can achieve success if they are lucky enough, but most others need to stack the odds in their favor by doing the right things. One way to quickly separate the lucky from those who do the right things is to follow them and see if their self-made luck continues.

The three people we are revisiting in this look back are all owner/entrepreneurs who would immediately become friends if they ever ended up in the same room. I spent three days with each one preparing the original stories and found them all to be down-to-earth, curious, students of business with their ear to the ground. They are the opposite of know-it-alls. They are not afraid to ask questions or try new ideas.
