PMQ has upgraded our website and we’d like your help in making it even better. There’s a reason why PMQ.com is the pizza industry’s first choice when it comes to research and problem solving and if you haven’t visited the site recently, you should come see what thousands of other operators have already discovered.
We sat down about six months ago and took at look at many areas of the web site to determine what could be improved. The first thing you will notice is how much easier it is to find what you are looking for, such as interactive message rooms (the Think Tank) where hundreds of operators gather each and every day to discuss employee issues, dough problems, marketing strategies and other things that come with the daily grind of owning and operating a restaurant. You’ll also notice new videos being posted right there on the homepage where you can watch video tours of cheese factories, Italian flour companies, product demos and other useful videos like Tom Lehmann’s ‘How to Make Dough’ video tutorial series.
PMQ In Italian
In addition to expanded articles and artwork you can’t find in PMQ’s Pizza Magazine, there are new and unique features such as the Italian section. For those who speak Italian, you are going to love this area. Simply click the ‘Italia’ button at the top of the page and read articles from not only PMQ, but news and articles directly from Italy…all in Italian! We’ve hired Paola Laghetti, who lives in Verona, Italy, as our roving Italian reporter. She will be updating us on events and ideas from Italy in addition to translating many of the articles you read in PMQ into Italian, so if you speak Italian, you’re going to love this new feature.
New Features of PMQ.com
Some of the new features of PMQ.com have greatly improved how easy it is to find what you are looking for on the site. There are new search functions where you can search for keywords. For example, if you wanted to find articles on POS systems, simply type in your search words and click ‘search’ to locate all the POS info on the site. We’ve also beefed up the Think Tank and now only registered users are allowed to post…meaning no SPAM threats or junk to sift through…only tips, advice and notes from registered owners and operators just like you. You will also be able to listen to audio interviews (through PizzaRadio.com), read company product releases in the PMQ News Room, find new tools to help you manage your business in the Manager’s Toolbox and so much more, such as being able to subscribe to our RSS feeds. PMQ’s RSS Feed provides updates about what’s new with PMQ. To subscribe to PMQ’s RSS feed go to http://www.pmq.com/rss.
So if you haven’t been to the PMQ.com web site, drop in tonight and see what is new. If you have never been to the site, drop in and see what you have been missing.
