Each year the World Pizza Championship gets bigger and better. Over 600 Pizza Operators came this year from all over the world to make their claim that theirs was the world's best pizza. Only Giuseppe Paolini of Augusta, Italy and Claudio Menon from Rome could claim the title as makers of the best pizza within the two recognized categories of pizza.

Also on hand were many Italian and International visitors to sample the products and enjoy the fun, which is covered extensively by the Italian Press. Even the BBC picked up the story, sending 700 additional visitors to PMQ's website the night the winners were announced.

Listed on the next page are some of the more interesting ideas we spotted when we toured the exhibition hall. Many key vendors to the Italian Pizza Industry were there.
